I practice and teach automatic creativity, where the 'I' who is typically in the lead is simply switched off, and the 'I' that's underneath is allowed to create whatever it pleases. It's a way of coming to know the deeper parts of the self, and is a method I use to free the spirit to be its whole self. My mission is to return wholeness to all of this world, to show one another we're all okay, we're all in this together, and we're all doing the best we can, to ask those who need help what they need, to freely share in abundance as though it's not rare, and to open our hearts to feeling each other's rawest meanest harshest wounds. It's challenging work, but it's meant to be, for through challenge we find our strength and durability. In the end, even if it's only reflections we find, we know there must be a mirror behind the moon...right?
In doing this work, we inevitably find some brilliance. We clean off the dust, reallocate the mind, and sweep out the cobwebs of old duty defineds. We make new our purpose, our reason, our mission, and we discover what we once could not find.
What is something you've always wanted to try but have been too afraid to start? What is just beyond the edge of your ability? Once we find that edge we can find the direction to go in order to fulfill the next need.
I've been interested in and playing with light, form, and shadow ever since I was born. I was obsessed with science and learning how things worked as a kid, and always loved to play and create things with anything. My imagination was my playground and my knowledge was my home.
I went to RIT and earned my Master's of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a minor is Music and Technology. I took a sculpture class and a glass blowing class as well to round out my hands-on skills to better interweave the arts and the sciences.
Since then I've been exploring the nature without and within me, and have found I've made tremendous leaps and bounds anytime I find what couldn't be found - that is to say, anytime I grow beyond my previous scared-zone.
